Thanks for the suggestion, we intend to ship support for VSCode in future, in the meantime you can use our command line ssutil.exe to add/update ServiceStack references: https://github.com/ServiceStack/ServiceStack/wiki/Add-ServiceStack-Reference#ssutilexe---command-line-servicestack-reference-tool
